Every woman and child should have the right to a life free from inequality, cruelty and discrimination
Support the vital work of Snehalaya India to protect, advocate for and rehabilitate vulnerable members of its local community
We work with Snehalaya (www.snehalaya.org), an Indian NGO that provides services to women, children and LGBT communities affected by HIV, AIDS, poverty, violence and sex trafficking. Snehalaya is focussed on four key areas - rehabilitation, education, healthcare, and awareness with goal to end human trafficking, improve education for deprived children and campaign for justice to bring rescue, rights and rehabilitation to those that need it. We earnestly support this noble cause by spreading awareness, taking on active projects, arranging visits to Snehalaya's headquarters, and helping to raise funds.
Snehalaya is a non-profit, charitable, philanthropic social service organization founded in 1989 with the objective of providing free professional health care facility and rehabilitation opportunities to the most neglected and exploited class of our society e.g. women victims of sexual exploitation & human trafficking as well as their affected children including HIV positive children, irrespective of their race, religion, caste. The organization is not affiliated to any political nor religious bodies. Donations are accepted from the individuals as well as donor organisations to fund the social programs, including motivation, education, communication, training, planning, designing, estimating, implementation, maintenance and follow-up, directed towards fulfilling the requirements of the needy women and children. Any revenue generated is not shared by the members of the Board of Trustees nor any individual. It is spent on the purpose for which money is received, to run the organization and on the welfare of the beneficiaries.
